Poughkeepsie Celebrates The 4th With Fireworks On The Walkway

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Poughkeepsie will once again celebrate Independence Day with a fireworks display that can be viewed from the Walkway Over the Hudson on Saturday, July 2.

Tickets are $12.50 per person and can be purchased online

The walkway will close to the general public at 5:30 p.m. and re-open to those with tickets and wristbands at 6:30 p.m. Pets, fireworks, glass, smoking and alcohol are all prohibited on the walkway. 

Seating may be set up on the south side of the walkway in designated viewing sections only. 

Wristbands are also available for purchase at: 

  • Adams Fairacre Farms (Poughkeepsie and Wappingers Falls)
  • Mahoney’s Irish Pub and Steakhouse
  • Pomodoro in Highland
